2011 Asia Tour Cri Show – Shanghai (July 9, 2011) – part 3

What follows was the most memorable moment of my eel life ^^

When the show was over and the credits started to roll, I was looking around trying to find any staff who could take me to my present.  While we were trying to communicate with a staff, the translator walked out on the stage and made an announcement for the 3 winners to wait near the entrance to the backstage area.  So there I waited with the other 2 girls. The translator also asked the eels who were still there to look around and see if we can find Suk’s earphone that fell off during the performance (I don’t know if they found it at the end or not :P)

After some time, we were taken backstage. We walked through this long dark hallway and through security, then a Korean staff greeted us at there (and what a very nice n friendly girl!). She pointed to a door, grinning and saying “Keun Suk, inside…” so I knew it’s his dressing room. She knocked on the door and asked for permission to enter, but told from inside that Sukkie was taking off his clothes and would meet us in a minute.  My heart was thumping super loud hahahaha

Suddenly the translator said she would need to borrow us for a moment. She took us farther up into the hallway and there we saw another 3 girls who claimed they’re the winners! So shameless >.< But I was so relieved when the translator said, “I remember this one (a very tall girl) and her (me! ^O^).” And she asked the other girl which question she answered, and the girl said, “Tae Kyung’s birthday gift from his mom.” The translator nodded and banished the other 3 girls out of there (I can’t believe those girls had a nerve to make such claim! It would never work in a million years! Did they think the winners would miss this opportunity and wouldn’t show up? -_-;;; )

Anyway, afterward we were taken back to his dressing room. We lined up in front of the door, and a minute later, the door was opened and Jason beckoned us to go in!

The moment the door was open, I thought, “vanilla!” The room was filled with his vanilla scent. Then I saw him! Smiling! Looking super good! And right then, my focus only pinpointed to one person in the room LOL He extended his hand to us and hugged each of us. And I was sooooo stupid!! Instead of hugging him with both arms (ok, so one of my hand was holding my present for him and would knock him with it if I tried), I pulled Go Mi Nam trademark thing and patted him on his back >.<  But I swear, that vanilla smell would never be the same again… I can still smell it even now LOL

Then he asked in English how did we find the show? Did we enjoy it? It’s either the other 2 girls were more shell-shocked than I was or they’re not comfortable with English, but they didn’t say anything (I don’t know if they made any gesture, because I wasn’t looking at them). I told him I enjoyed it very much and it was very very good (I think my voice must have come out breathless because I suddenly had trouble breathing at that time kkkk). By this time, he was looking at me and smiling, and half of my brain cells were paralyzed *cries* I’m still cursing my stupidity even now. I should have said it’s the best cri show out of the 4 that I’ve attended… I had planned I wanted to ask him about his injured toe… all gone the instant I looked into his smiling eyes and he looked back at me T_T

But luckily, I remember to give him my present. I handed it over to him and told him it’s for him. He looked surprised and asked me what is it? Was it a gift? I said yes, a gift for you… and I handed him another smaller bag saying “and this one for Gunsama”. He passed the other gift to Gunsama then (and I forgot to tell him it was from Fenny >.< Suk wouldn’t think I’m kabayaki, right? >.< ) and I just realized Gunsama was there hahahaha Suk thanked me and peeked a little into the bag.

By this time the other girl found her voice and asked if we can take pictures together with him (YAY!! ^O^). Heungro-nim said no, can’t, but Sukkie said it’s okay, it’s the last stage. Jason interfered and said “ok, but 3 of you in 1 picture.” So I walked over to Sukkie and he put his hand on my shoulder for the pic. Luckily, I still had a mind to fish out my camera and handed it to Jason, who took our pics. I couldn’t feel my legs, I had to force my facial muscles to smile and kept reminding myself not to faint and humiliate myself, but it was one of the happiest moments in my eel life LOL

Afterward, a staff brought 3 shopping bags out and gave to him. He handed each to us. One bag looked heavier than the other 2, and I eyed that one, but Sukkie gave it to the tall girl. The other girl and I got a gift in a pouch.  Then Jason said, “Actually, it’s supposed to be on the stage, but because of safety reason, we decided to give it to you backstage. You know, it’s never been done like this before… this is the first time.” I nodded and told him I know how very special this was.  Then once again, Sukkie thanked us and we thanked him back. Gunsama extended his hand and thanked me (and I was thinking why is he thanking me? It clicked that I forgot to tell him it’s from Fenny after I was out of there >.<)  And before we walked out of the room, unlike my usual routine with him, he was the one saying bye cri and I said bye to him LOLLLL *and then I realized the camera was recording everything! OMG… >.< I hope it won’t make it into DVD set or anything >.< edit out, edit out, please…*

Anyway, the presents: the tall girl got several versions of clear folders and a cushion cover (and I was kinda thankful when I saw it that I didn’t get that one because I have most (if not all) of those folders already kkkkk). The other girl got a set of his official post-its, memo books, etc. And this is what I got ^O^ : the shopping bag is from Yokohama exhibition special item (and the only item I didn’t buy!! ^O^ Now I have a complete set! YAY!), the signed postcard picture, a set of Let Me Cry: CD, pin and postcard pic.

I don’t think I will post the pic with him.  If you meet me, ask me to show it to you, ok? ^.~
